I remember watching a scary movie with Caitlin & Jarrett. Caitlin would have been about 10 years old at the time. I don’t remember the name of the movie but I do remember what Caitlin did while we watched it. She made me cover her eyes with my hand but would use her own hand to spread my fingers so she could see. Then quickly close my fingers again to avoid watching the scary parts. We watched the whole movie like that. Back and forth over and over with her peaking then closing my fingers over her eyes again. I was not allowed to pull my hand away. It is the cutest memory and I will cherish it forever.
When I first met Caitlin she was 10 years old. The sweetest memory was the 1st birthday we celebrated together. We went to the nearby playground and Caitlin told me to stay put! I saw her go behind a tree. For several minutes I could see her arms flailing behind it.
It was so funny. I had no idea what she was up to. Suddenly she emerged with a half inflated birthday balloon she had found on the playground. She wove it to a stick with grass and dandelions. It was the best present I had received. I will never forget how proud she looked and how happy she was to give that to me. I still have it! I love you little girl ❤
Caitlin was a close friend of mine. She was always there. You could tell her anything and not have to worry about being judged. One time, maybe 3-4 years ago, we went to the store and both bought matching skateboards. We rode them around the store (which probably was not allowed lol) and then we went to a park and rode them there. She went down a huge hill and fell off, after it happened she said “that was so fun”, we laughed it off and did it all over again. I still have the skateboard and I will never get rid of it. I’ll miss you forever Caitlin ❤️ I know you are watching over us
