NDE or (Near Death Experience) is what some people report experiencing while dead. It can be confusing because there really is nothing near death about it. The majority of people who have these experiences are quite dead. Like, Barbara Bartolome, in this excerpt from the Today Show. Barbara was brought back from death and is able to share her story with us.
At 31 years of age Barabara went to the hospital for a myelogram, a diagnostic imaging procedure where they inject an iodine dye into the base of the neck. Normally a routine procedure but not on that day.
In Barbara’s case the dye accidently traveled to her brain and within seconds, she was flat-lining. She had died.
The very next thing she recalls is “I literally went from inside my body, and when I shut my eyes… the next second I was up on the ceiling looking down at the entire room,” she recalled.
She tells of feeling a presence next to her. Barbara says: It felt so loving and so accepting, so eternal. I literally looked down and said, “Huh, if I’m up here, and my body’s down there, then I think I must have just died.”
One thing I am finding over and over as I do more research into this subject is overwhelming feeling of unconditional and unrelenting love. An unconditional acceptance and a sense of being connected to everyone and everything. To feel one with the universe and all that’s in it. Beauty that surpases that than can be described by mere words. A simply amazing place where we are all loved embraced in the arms of GOD.
